أعلنت شركة Acer عن سلسلة جديده من فئة الحاسبات المحمولة TravelMate Timeline ومن المتوقع أن تكون هذه الحاسبات من فئة الأعمال.الحاسبات المحمولة الجديده هي TravelMate Timeline 8571 و 8471 و 8371 بشاشات تبدأ من 13.3 هنش و 14.1 هنش و 15.6 هنش . أما فيما يخصّ المعالج ونوعه فيمكنك أختيار Core 2 Duo و كرت شاشة أختياري Intel GM45 مع ذاكرة عشوائية SDRAM سعة 4 جيجابايت >> كما أنه يدعم الوايرلس والبلوتوث ومدخل للأنترنت . الجدير بالذكر أن الأجهزة مزودة بنظام Windows 7 الجديد كما أن هذه الحاسبات سيتوفر فيها خاصية البصمة المعروفة في بعض الأجهزة. وفيما يخصّ السعر فالسعر يبدأ من 899 دولار أمريكي إلى 999 دولار أمريكي.
